A relaxing
and serene ambience has been created in the conversion
of the former butcher’s shop to a continental style
café. The interior has retained some of the original
butcher-shop features, giving it the atmosphere of a ‘bouchon’;
a butcher-cum-restaurant typical of the French city of
Lyon. Jazz music in the background, with regular live
sessions, adds to the atmosphere. Oak fittings have been
used throughout. Wood and marble furniture designed by
Charles O’Toole is stylish and comfortable. If it
is for an early morning espresso and croissant; a Mediterranean
salad for lunch or an evening of live Jazz, Andersons
fits the bill.
